Job Description:
We're looking for a Civil Engineering Degree Apprentice (Drainage) to join our Transportation Team based in Exeter, Devon, working towards a Level 6 apprenticeship in Civil Engineering.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £19,000 per annum - with a salary earning potential of £35k+ upon completion of the course!
How does a degree apprenticeship work?
As a Civil Engineering Degree Apprentice, you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a BEng in Civil Engineering with our university partner, Coventry, all tuition and accommodation fees covered by us.
You'll work closely with the Transportation team to design, build and maintain infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people.
Your day to day will include:
* Carrying out site investigations
* Liaising with clients and subcontractors
* Ensuring projects run to health and safety, sustainability, and legal requirements
* Attending university during pre-determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course
What are we looking for?
To enrol onto your degree, you will need:
* 4 GCSEs (Including English Language and Science Level 4 or above, and Maths Level 5 or above)
* 96 UCAS Points from a minimum of 3 A-Levels, one of which must be Maths (or equivalent BTEC Level 3 qualifications in relevant subjects)
To apply as a mature student, you will need at least 5 years' experience in a related career.
