A wonderful school in Stockport is seeking a Year 5 teacher to complete a maternity cover in a small, family-feel school commencing September!
On behalf of our client school, Tradewind is recruiting a dedicated teacher with a strong knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum, to complete a maternity cover starting in September. The role will be on a full-time basis, paid to scale (MPS 1-6) and provides an exciting opportunity open to both ECTs and teachers further on in their career.

Year 5 Teacher
The successful teacher will be someone who:
1. Creates engaging and purposeful lessons in line with National Curriculum Standards
2. Uses adaptive teaching methods to both scaffold and stretch activities to allow all children to achieve their potential
3. Is invested in creating respectful, trusting relationships with the pupils and creating strong partnerships with parents and carers
4. Can use ICT effectively to bring learning to life and incorporate Chromebooks and Kahoot Quizzes into lessons
5. Is open-minded, keen to learn, share ideas and support best practice
6. Immerses themselves in all aspects of school life
7. Adheres to all school policies and procedures
