JOB OVERVIEW
The Group Financial Reporting Team is responsible for overseeing statutory reporting at the consolidated Group level, ensuring financial control of Study Group’s functional and corporate holding entities, providing technical accounting advice at the Group level, and managing key aspects of the monthly management accounts, forecasting, and budgeting processes. The Group Financial Reporting Manager plays a pivotal role in this team, leading the Group Financial Accountant to ensure a robust month-end close for the functional and corporate holding entities. This role includes preparing consolidated Group financial statements, corporate entity financial statements, and contributing to the accurate production of sections of the monthly management accounts.
ABOUT THE ROLE
1. Preparation of a portion of the Group monthly management accounts - called the business performance report (BPR) including reporting and analysis of cash flows, capex, liquidity and exceptional costs. Understanding and investigating the variances to budget/forecast and preparing the slides to go into the BPR.
2. Review of and support in the process of the balance sheet reporting in the BPR.
3. Oversee the preparation, posting and review of journals in respect of Group financing, intercompany, corporate holding entities and consolidation adjustments.
