We're recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join our client's team, handling electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across multiple sites. This role is key to maintaining and improving electrical systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out electrical installations and maintenance in line with British Standards.
2. Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, including motors, instrumentation, control panels, and LV circuits.
3. Identify and resolve faults in industrial control systems, ensuring continuous operation.
4. Ensure all electrical work complies with health, safety, and quality regulations.
5. Work closely with the Northern Team Leader/Instrument Control Manager to implement a preventive maintenance program.
6. Read and interpret technical documents, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications.
7. Provide technical support and collaborate with engineering teams on specialized electrical installations.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. 18th Edition (BS7671:2018) certification.
2. NVQ Level 3 in Electro Technical Services (Electrical) or BTEC National Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
3. Strong knowledge of PLCs, three-phase motors, and fault-finding in industrial control systems.
4. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
5. Experience using test equipment to diagnose and repair system malfunctions.
