The Urology Department at Ashford and St Peters Hospitals is looking to recruit a nursing post for a Band 5 Urology Nurse based in the Urology Centre at St Peter’s hospital.
The purpose of this post is to contribute to an expert specialised service in Urology that positively impacts the experience of patients and carers by providing high standards of clinical practice and care in keeping with the Trust's core values.
You will be expected to have some surgical nursing experience; however, full training and support will be provided by our experienced nursing team.
You will work in collaboration with the Urology Nursing Team and Urology Consultants. Experience will be gained in a diverse range of clinical interventions/investigations in the urological field, with full training and developmental support provided.
This Band 5 position will include a varied role overseeing a multifaceted specialty, which includes the recovery of post-operative patients, the flexible cystoscopy service, urology treatments, lithotripsy, and outpatient clinics. The position will also provide training to assist with local template biopsy lists.
