Working within the Service Validation & Service Design Team, as part of the Service Management & Design function at Arqiva. Key Accountabilities: Responsible for overseeing the management and adherence of service acceptance criteria for all products, services, and systems deliveries. Responsible for the reviewing and the updating of Support Model documentation to the point of Operational Handover. Responsible for developing transition plans, and controls & monitors for all activities relating to the successful Transition & Handover of service requirements into live operations for new customers, services, and solutions. Maintain strong relationships between delivery teams and operational stakeholders to achieve Operational Readiness within the given timeframe. Accountable for identifying operational risk where operational readiness is compromised, and work with Delivery Manager and Operational teams to ensure a successful outcome. Responsible for coordinating with various business and operational stakeholders to understand the full scope of changes, including training requirements, supporting operational readiness and successful handover of new or changed products, services, or systems. Responsible for leading Service Transition meetings during Operational Readiness and Operational Handover phases. Responsible for obtaining confirmation and approval of Operation Readiness & Operational Hanover from key operational stakeholders. Responsible for conducting ‘Lessons Learnt’ exercises for each delivery undertaken, feeding into delivery teams and into internal continuous improvement initiatives. Required Expertise: Experience leading a virtual team across business and technical functions. Experience of working in Telecoms, Media, or Utilities an advantage Significant experience in continual improvement activities Awareness of Six Sigma / Lean desirable Experience in using Jira, Confluence and ServiceNow desirable Required Technical / Professional Skillset(s): Effective communicator, able to engage, listen and provide feedback and guidance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills across multiple forums. Excellent organisational skills, able to prioritise multiple tasks of varying size over varied timescales. Understand Strategy and Business Deliverables and convert into agile practical operational readiness to facilitate success. Outcome driven, able to optimise transition plans, scope readiness activities and drive operational acceptance. Excellent approach to planning, documenting, and reporting on delivery against requirements. Individual Accountability : Able to take initiative, act with confidence and work under own initiative.
