Accounts Assistant
Temp to Perm
We are working with our client who is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join them on a temp to perm basis. (Immediate start available).
The role:
1. Checking purchase invoices that have been entered on to Sage 50 Accounts
2. Logging payments for GBP, USD and Euro currencies from bank accounts on a monthly basis
3. Monthly bank reconciliations including foreign accounts for approximately 10 accounts
4. Completion of Insurance declarations on a monthly/yearly basis
5. Sharing responsibility for sales invoicing
6. Sharing responsibility for passing haulage invoices for payment
7. Filing of invoices, statements and other paperwork
Requirements:
1. Strong IT, maths, and written/verbal communication skills
2. Previous PL, SL or accounts experience would be desirable
3. Use of and good understanding of Sage Accounts packages desirable
4. Willingness to take on new tasks and learn
5. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload
6. The ability to work under pressure
7. Keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail
