Planet Pharma is partnered with one of our leading clients who are seeking a Building and Utility Engineer who will be responsible for the reliable and compliant operation of all services and equipment serving all business functions across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
* On call (1 in 6 weeks), including absences to cover holiday and sickness, as required.
* Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance as required within critical and non-critical environments.
* The closure of remedial and service requests.
* Work is carried out in accordance with current regulations and safety standards.
* Monitor BMS for running equipment and responding to alarm conditions.
* Investigate mechanical/electrical faults, identify root cause and corrective remedies.
* Assist when and where required with installation work and small projects.
Experience Required:
* Engineering experience in a regulated environment.
* Good awareness of Health and Safety.
* Multi-Skilled in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience on steam boilers – blowdowns and water treatment.
* VSD’s, motor controls, and relay logic.
* Domestic and low temperature hot water systems.
* AHU’s, FCU’s, chilled water, and compressed air systems.
* Working knowledge of “Permit to work” systems.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
* Need to be flexible, as occasionally the need will arise to work outside standard office hours.
* Experience of CMMS and BMS systems.
