Job Overview The Children's Services operates an Admin & Clerical Bank, which plays an important role in providing temporary administration and clerical support to the clinical services across Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board on a flexible approach to work, on an ad hoc basis. Shifts may include evenings and weekend. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply. Main duties of the job We are looking for colleagues with experience of admin and clerical duties, who have good interpersonal and organisational skills and who will be able to work well within our existing teams to cover short term, long term and ad hoc vacancies. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Acute Paediatrics team at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor as a Bank Clerical Assistant. The post holder would provide cover for absence for secretarial and admin staff including Reception Cover, Ward Clerk Cover, booking of appointments, Audio Typing and General Office Duties. You will need to have a flexible approach to work, be reliable, adaptable and have good organisational skills. A pleasant telephone manner and good communication skills are essential. You will also be computer literate with experience of Word and Excel, be a team player and able to maintain confidentiality. Applicants must also have a good standard of education.
