Job Description
We are looking for an experienced manager, who is a self-motivated, reliable, enthusiastic, team player and work effectively under pressure. Maintain professionalism and handle sensitive and confidential information at all times.
Excellent communication skills, customer service, interpersonal skills, detailed orientated. Administrative skills, i.e. touch typing, letter writing, mail merge, and writing, proofing and updating/creating forms. IT literate with the ability to learn and use internal systems, analyse/use data. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise. Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the company.
The quality coordinator role is a supporting role to assist managers and regional managers across our settings. This role reports in to the Quality and Audit Manager who is the line manager.
What does the role involve?
* To develop and ensure quality of practice and inclusion provisions comply or exceeds Ofsted/national standards for the regions assigned to you.
* Detailing clear practices and area of the provision that is working well in and produce a report with actions to defined areas for improvements.
* Support colleagues in helping to achieve excellent practice throughout the settings.
* Support managers and settings with inspections whether announced or unannounced by Ofsted or Early Years.
* To report to the Quality and Audit Manager and work with the Operational leadership to proactively identify actions and manage audit expectations in order for the nurseries to be fully compliant in line with the needs of the business, Ofsted and Local Authority Regulations.
* Internal audits undertaken within each setting, producing an internal Tops operation report to ascertain how well the setting is functioning from a quality point of view.
* To produce an annual report on all inspections – monitoring progress from previous years and agreeing annual actions with the regional manager.
* Good administrator with excellent organisational skills, use of IT database and excel, with the ability to set up and create own systems to work smarter.
What are we looking for?
* A minimum of a Level 3 Early Years Qualification is required.
* Strong interpersonal skills so that they can work collaboratively across all levels of colleagues and professionals.
* Strong Communication skills, as duties will involve producing written reports and relaying outcomes to audit inspection.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to multi-disciplined audience. Communication, numeracy and organisational skills.
* Experience at Manager Level and or working within the care industry, show good initiative and excellent communication skills.
* Previous experience for working for a governing body such as Early Years or Ofsted.
* Good knowledge of information technology especially Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF’s, and in house data bases)
* Driving Licence
* Key Skills at Level 3 or equivalent
* Experiences working with SEND children and supporting SENDCo’s
* Degree in Early years or leadership and management is diserable.
