We are in a period of accelerated growth, following a year of key strategic acquisitions and significant investment across all parts of the business from Tech and Data to People and HR, there's never been a more exciting time to join us or a better place to grow your career The Role We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of our event strategy including B2B industry award sponsorships, B2B expos, client hospitality, internal staff parties, social and fundraising activities and internal employee engagements. This role is critical in ensuring our presence at industry expos in the UK and US is impactful, engaging and delivers measurable results. You will work closely with sales teams to align event strategies with commercial objectives, manage budget effectively and coordinate suppliers to deliver seamless event experiences. Responsibilities: Event Strategy and Execution: Plan, coordinate and execute B2B events, including exhibitions, trade shows and conferences in the UK and US Stand Management: Oversee all aspects of expo stand attendance, from initial booking to on-site execution, ensuring brand visibility and engagement with key stakeholders. Be hands-on at the events, set-up and pack-down and be comfortable transporting event collateral Sales Team Engagement: Collaborate closely with the sales team to maximise event ROI, support lead generation and customer engagement initiatives Supplier and Vendor Management: Source, negotiate and manage relationships with event venues, stand builders, logistics partners and promotional material suppliers Budget Management: Develop and oversee event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and financial accountability Marketing and Promotion: Work alongside the marketing team to create pre-event promotions, on-site branding and post-event follow-up strategies Logistics and Operations: Coordinate all event logistics, including travel arrangements, accommodation, stand setup and shipping of materials Performance Measurement: Track and report on event KPIs, including lead generation, footfall, engagement and overall success metrics Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all events meet health and safety regulations, brand guidelines and industry best practices Requirements Essential: Proven experience in B2B event management, ideally within a fast-paced or high-growth industry Track record of managing exhibitions and trade shows in both the UK and US Strong ability to engage and align with sales teams, ensuring event strategies drive commercial success Excellent supplier and vendor management skills, with experience negotiating contracts and delivering high-quality event experiences Solid budget management expertise, ensuring cost control and ROI-driven decision-making Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple events simultaneously Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across teams, stakeholders and external partners Willingness to travel within the UK, US and internationally as required You'll be willing to be hands-on at events, doing stand set up and pack-down and able to work away from home and outside of office hours during events Benefits We are actively committed to promoting a fully diverse and inclusive workforce and we welcome applications for this role from all candidates who meet the key requirements.
