Bates & Bradshaw are recruiting on behalf of a local construction company in the Hull area who operate in the Repairs & Maintenance, Facilities Management, Home Improvements, and Design & Build categories.
Due to a sustainable increase in work, we are recruiting a Project Manager with experience from within a Construction and/or Building Maintenance Environment, particularly with M&E experience in the Domestic, Commercial, and Healthcare sectors.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage various sites around the UK at any one time, so travelling will be necessary.
Main Responsibilities
1. To lead, develop and manage the projects in accordance with pre-approved plans.
2. Monitoring the work in accordance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
3. Delivering contracts safely and within the Company’s financial management frameworks.

Knowledge
1. Expert technical knowledge relating to the construction industry.
2. Health & Safety relating to the construction industry.

Experience
1. Over five years’ experience in a building maintenance/construction environment, of which at least two years’ experience in a management role covering staff and resource control.
2. Proven experience of effectively managing large multi-disciplined teams.
Qualifications
1. Full UK driving licence.
2. SMSTS Required.
3. NEBOSH Certificate in Construction Health and Safety.
