Job Duties:
1. Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions for primary school students in accordance with the PPA timetable
2. Provide cover for absent teachers across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) classes
3. Create and implement lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and school guidelines
4. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
5. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
Required Qualifications:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
7. Enhanced DBS Check
8. Experience working in primary education settings
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in primary schools
Knowledge and Skills:
9. Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational best practises
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
11. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
12. Organisational skills and the ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
13. Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
14. Specialist training in PPA cover and supply teaching
Working Conditions:
This role involves working on a temporary basis as a daily supply teacher, covering PPA time and teacher absences in primary schools. The successful candidate will need to be flexible, adaptable, and able to work in different school environments across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
