A Chartered Building Surveying consultancy in London is seeking a project-focused Associate Building Surveyor to join them, having seen a dramatic increase in new work.
The Associate Building Surveyor's role:
The Directors are seeking a skilled Associate Building Surveyor to undertake a project bias role, where you will be overseeing several projects (valuing up to £5m) in the form of either a Surveyor, Project Manager, or Contract Administrator.
The Associate Building Surveyor's work will include core functions such as:
1. Defects diagnosis
2. Planned maintenance programming
3. Landlord and tenant matters
4. Reinstatement cost assessments
5. Party wall and general advice
The Associate Building Surveyor should have:
1. Ideally MRICS, must have a Building Surveying / RICS accredited degree
2. Project bias experience / experience of acting as a CA or PM
3. JCT contract experience is necessary
4. Good management and people skills
5. Experience of working in a UK building consultancy practice
6. Previous experience as a Senior or Associate Building Surveyor
