We are delighted to be working with a prestigious Public Sector organisation as they look to recruit for a new Deputy Payroll Manager to join their best in class finance unit.

Deputy Payroll Manager:
Duration: 9 – 12 month contract
Location: Wolverhampton (3 days on site)
Pay Rate: £20 - £25 hourly rate
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Coordinating the Payroll team to deliver all aspects of payroll, deliver effective payment processes and coordinate the IR35 process
* Develop internal and external relationships with key stakeholders (faculties, HMRC, government agencies etc.) in order to strengthen internal processes
* Deputise for the Payroll Manager as required
* Respond clearly and concisely to varied and complex enquiries from employers and stakeholders
* Support the Payroll and Payments Manager In overseeing the Monthly expenses process
* Monitor legislation and regulations related to Payroll, IR35 and Expenses to ensure adherence
* Produce statistical information for external bodies such as the Office for National Statistics
Requirements:
* Experience of operating computerised payroll systems
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to supervise the work of others
