Resident Site Engineer, ASDA, Lutterworth

Swisslog enables skilled and experienced Military Engineers, with current or recent practical hands-on experience within a maintenance or repair environment, to transfer these valuable skills to the Automation Industry. The Role
1. Breakdown and planned preventative maintenance on a variety of automated machinery, to include wrappers; pallet conveyors; packaging machinery; pallet stacker cranes, autostore, and robots.
2. To undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations and industry standard practices.
3. Prioritize system faults.
4. To ensure quality of output at all times.
5. To accurately record all work undertaken.
6. Involvement in continuous improvement projects.
7. Comply with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
The Person
1. An apprentice trained engineer or equivalent qualification.
2. Experience of working with automated machinery is ideal; however, it is not essential as training will be provided.
3. Happy to work at heights.
4. This is a customer-facing role, so you must be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
