Come build the future with us and apply directly to your dream job POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a dynamic Head of Quality to oversee and enhance quality operations at our Falkirk and Larbert sites. In this pivotal role, you will drive a strong quality culture, ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards, and lead a high-performing team to continuously improve vehicle quality. Bring your expertise in lean manufacturing, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration to make a lasting impact. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Lives and role models the company Values and culture at all times. Responsible to ensure all controls (ICFR Internal Controls) identified under their area of responsibility are designed and operating as outlined in the internal controls over financial reporting. Ensure policies and processes are established and adhered to ensure goals and objectives for all regulatory and legal requirements are met including organizational quality, environmental, health & safety programs. Formulating, deploying, and verifying quality operations activities across Falkirk & Larbert. Working closely with Commercial, Engineering, Procurement and Operations to ensure all activities critical to quality are completed effectively on-time. Drive lean thinking and reduction of waste through effective data collection, problem solving and adherence to 5S principles. Ensure quick resolution of supplier quality issues impacting sites. Ensure quick resolution of Service & Aftermarket issues. Lead problem solving activities across the sites using appropriate problem-solving methodologies (6 Sigma/8D). Develop, participate in and maintain Process Quality audits. Ensure accreditation to ISO 9001 quality standard through effective management reviews and internal audits. Leading and continuously developing a high performing and professional Quality Operations function that adds value to the effective operation of the organisation and its service users. Overseeing the effective use of resources to ensure that the site quality operations functions and services are of high quality. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: Post-secondary education in a related Engineering/Quality field or equivalent experience. Demonstrate superior communication and influencing skills at all levels in the organisation. Strong communicator and ability to influence other functions. Deep knowledge of all quality operations processes. Good understanding and experience of lean manufacturing and built-in-quality principles Excellent problem-solving skills and understanding of Six Sigma/8D methodology. Understanding and management of ISO 9001 quality standard. Relevant post-secondary education and certification Professional approach in dealings inside and outside the company Demonstrate capability as a self-starter and working proactively with other business functions Ability to manage projects and initiatives within the organisation Ability to prioritise and communicate across a busy portfolio of diverse initiatives and issues. Ability to identify key issues and how and by whom they should be most efficiently resolved – possesses conflict resolution, negotiations, change management, business transformation skills. Effective relationship management – post holder will be expected to maintain a good working relationship with all stakeholders.
