Job responsibilities
As the face of Cranbrook Medical Practice, the Receptionist/Administrator will greet and assist patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and efficient service. The ideal candidate will be friendly, presentable, and a strong team player, contributing to the smooth running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify patients' issues and direct them to the appropriate clinician (e.g., triage GP, Nurse, PCN roles).
* Welcome patients, handle enquiries, manage phone calls, emails, and book appointments.
* Maintain a tidy, organized reception area and process telephone requests courteously.
* Complete tasks requested by team members and provide additional support as needed.
* Adhere to patient confidentiality protocols and demonstrate a full understanding of practice procedures.
