Position Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Family Law Solicitor with 4–6 years of post-qualification experience to join the firm’s established and growing Family Law team. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of family law matters while also contributing to the team’s development and wider business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a diverse caseload including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, cohabitation disputes, and prenuptial agreements.
• Provide clear, tailored legal advice on complex family law issues with a client-focused approach.
• Supervise and support junior team members as required.
• Participate in business development activities, including networking and building relationships with clients and referrers.
• Maintain organised, efficient, and accurate case handling and document management.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in family law and apply this knowledge effectively to client matters.
Requirements:
• Qualified Solicitor with 4–6 years’ PQE in family law.
• Strong technical expertise, particularly in financial settlements and child arrangements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client relationship management.
• Ability to independently manage and prioritise a busy and varied caseload.
• Commercially aware with experience in business development initiatives.
• IT proficient with a proactive, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset.
