Role Overview: Reporting to the Senior Manager, Record to Report (RTR), and working closely with the Group Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will play a key role in producing accurate and timely financial information. This is an ideal position for a skilled accountant with excellent ERP and IT abilities, adept at problem-solving and eager to contribute to the success of a high-performing finance team. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with site accountants to support financial reporting for business units. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring alignment with group timetables and disclosures for Pilgrims US. Maintain and deliver key balance sheet account reconciliations, supporting overall entity reconciliation processes. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of revenue, cost of sales, overheads, inventory, and fixed assets, using insights to inform business decisions. Contribute to annual and statutory accounting processes, ensuring compliance with SOX controls. Work cross-functionally on projects, providing financial expertise and ensuring consistency of best practices across business units. Demonstrate high standards of financial integrity, coaching and supporting junior team members as needed. Key Skills and Experience Required: Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience. Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and US GAAP. Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred). SOX Compliance: Experience within a SOX-regulated environment. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders, including senior finance personnel, and work collaboratively across business units.
