We are looking to employ a hardworking, conscientious individual who will work as Clinical Team Administrator within the Liaison Psychiatry Team.
The Tees-wide Liaison Psychiatry Services operates across Tees, supporting North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, by providing mental health assessment, advice, diagnosis, treatment and care planning to patients with complex needs.
We are looking to recruit a team administrator to join our existing team of administration support across the Teesside area. You will be responsible for providing a high quality, flexible, administrative and secretarial support. The post holder will have joint responsibility for coordinating the day-to-day running of the service whilst ensuring work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
We are looking for an individual who is capable of complementing the current service provision, has the ability to work under pressure and work flexible hours as required 8am to 4pm & 12:00 to 20:00 Mon-Fri; 9-5 Saturday and Sunday on a rota basis.
You will be required to work at either North Tees Hospital or Roseberry Park Hospital on a rota basis therefore being able to independently travel is essential.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will ideally have an awareness of mental health issues and will be able to demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work. They will have an eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy. They will be able to effectively and clearly communicate with colleagues, service users, their families and acute trust colleagues.
As a team player, you'll be able to prioritise your work in order to meet deadlines and have a patient-focused approach. Previous experience of working within the NHS is desirable but not essential, as full induction will be provided.
You are required to have a Level 3 Qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience (or willingness to achieve within an agreed timescale), a good standard of English and Mathematics; experience of working in a busy administrative environment and be proficient in the use of MS Office with experience of patient records systems.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Level 3 Qualification in relevant field or equivalent experience or willingness to work towards Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management.
* Key skills/functional skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 OR O Level (Grade C and above/New GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4 to 9) are an essential requirement to be fully competent in the role. Where an applicant does not have the above qualifications or is unable to provide evidence of the certification, the applicant MUST achieve the required standards during their probationary period.
Experience
* Administrative experience in a clinical environment.
* Experience of handling monies and working within financial guidelines.
Knowledge
* Comprehensive knowledge of administrative procedures and the ability to undertake associated tasks ensuring adherence to defined procedures and guidelines.
* Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook).
* Understanding of confidentiality and the associated legal and policy requirements.
