We are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with experience of working in a physical setting. This post would be suitable for a Band 6 or an experienced Band 5 who would like to gain some experience of working at a Band 6 level.
The successful applicant will have effective communication, organisational and time management skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of the team.
We work with the adult population of Caithness, within the hospital and the community setting, and you will be expected to work flexibly across the Occupational Therapy service. Peer support and clinical supervision is provided by our very experienced Occupational Therapy Team. You will also assist with the clinical supervision and day-to-day workload management of support workers.
You will have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy, be HCPC registered and have a full UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
This is a full-time post of 37 hours per week, to be worked in accordance with service requirements. Part-time hours will also be considered. This post is fixed term for 12 months, covering a period of maternity leave.
A driving licence is essential and a pool car will be available, however applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, if required.
