Customer Service Advisor Annual Salary: £25,000 to £28,000 Location: Tyseley, Birmingham Job Type: Full-time We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing market-leading customer service, resolving enquiries, raising quotes, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to handle customer interactions with professionalism and empathy. Day-to-day of the role: Handle incoming customer enquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person. Raise quotations from customer requests via phone, email, or portal. Progress outstanding orders and provide ETAs to customers. Manage a portfolio of accounts in line with individual Account Manager’s portfolios, working collaboratively to provide a first-class customer service experience. Provide accurate information about products, services, and company policies. Resolve customer complaints or escalate them to the appropriate manager when necessary. Process orders, exchanges, and returns as required. Maintain customer records and update databases with relevant information. Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets and performance metrics. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. Stay up to date with company policies, promotions, and product updates. Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism. Proficiency in using computer systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. A positive attitude and a customer-first approach.
