Job Overview
Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant with significant experience in Accounts Payable to join their dynamic finance team in a leading UK manufacturing organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process supplier invoices and prepare weekly BACS payment runs
2. Manage complex travel expense claims and timesheet processing
3. Maintain accurate purchase ledger and supplier reconciliations
4. Handle petty cash and intricate journal entries
5. Manage Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in SAP
6. Conduct comprehensive month-end financial reconciliations
Essential Criteria
Qualifications:
1. Relevant Accounting qualification preferred
2. Proven experience in financial administration and Accounts Payable in particular
3. Strong background in the manufacturing finance sector
Technical Skills:
1. Advanced MS Excel and SAP proficiency
2. Exceptional numerical accuracy
3. Advanced analytical capabilities
4. Robust understanding of UK financial reporting standards
