CRM Marketing Executive
Reporting to: CRM Manager
Location: Remote (travel once a month to head office in Tewkesbury)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Base Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 DOE per annum

Key Responsibilities
The role involves the planning, delivery and execution of best-in-class multi-channel communication - primarily in email - with support on Direct Mail / WhatsApp / SMS / push notifications and in-app messaging.
Responsibilities include producing and delivering email campaigns for our lead and customer bases, coordinating assets, ensuring quality assurance, and scheduling.
* Manage the email marketing calendar and take ownership of the end-to-end email campaign process devise the purpose of each email, develop copy, plan email structure (using Figma) and work with the Design team to ensure comms are on-brand.
* Build HTML email templates from pre-defined modules and perform render testing across devices, email clients, and light/dark mode to ensure emails render correctly (using Litmus).
* Upload email HTML to ESP, add personalisation, test send and proof, and schedule (using SendGrid).
* Create targeted data segments and lists from lead and customer data to use in single sends and automated marketing flows
* Maintain an effective workflow to ensure emails go out on time and to the highest standard.
* Working with various teams and stakeholders to understand customer pain points and CRM data, plan the content, channel, and timing of automated customer lifecycle communications across multiple channels.
* Work with the development team to ensure automated transactional comms are populated correctly with dynamic content - using data from our CRM.
* Support on briefing Direct Mail creative into the design team, developing new packs to test and optimise and managing workflow on DM with 3rd party vendors for printing and mailing.
* Support on creation and testing of SMS, WhatsApp and push campaigns – working with our development team on set up and testing – report on results
* Ensure compliance with GDPR in all data-driven channels
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
* 2-3 years of experience in CRM, with hands-on experience in an email marketing role.
* Proficiency with ESPs; experience with SendGrid is a plus.
* Experience in using email testing tools like Litmus.
* Familiarity with the metrics that drive direct marketing performance.
* High attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with the target audience.
* Strong communication skills, team spirit and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Data-driven and capable of interpreting data to derive actionable insights and define customer segments.
* Good time-management skills, as projects require self-management and delivery within tight deadlines.
