Support Workers - Bournemouth - ASAP
Academics are recruiting 2 to 3 Support Workers to join a residential home adjoined to a special needs school in Bournemouth. They have full positions available between Monday-Sunday, so whatever your availability, please get in touch.
This would suit Support Workers with experience in either a care or special needs environment or someone with a genuine interest and passion for supporting others, as training is provided.
Alongside various shifts, they offer full-time, 52 weeks a year positions as the residential home is open during the school holidays. This is ideal for parents who want to spend some of the holidays with their own children.
A Support Worker’s role involves:
* Enabling young people to develop and make progress
* Providing physical, emotional, and nurturing support
* Working as part of a team to maintain a stable, happy, and caring environment
* Ensuring health, safety, care, and welfare of young people is a priority
To be a successful Support Worker, you will be a strong team player, confident, motivated, and well-organised. Patience and commitment are essential, but above all, you'll be someone with a genuine desire to help others. You must be based in Bournemouth or be willing to commute to the area for work.
