We have an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Supply Chain Professional looking for a new challenge to join our Platform Property Care Commercial Team.
Platform Property Care is a dynamic and growing Property Maintenance business committed to providing exceptional service and delivering value for money through our supply chain management. As we continue to improve operational efficiency, we are now seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team and help drive the future of our supply chain operations.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will play a key role in the effective and efficient day-to-day management of our materials and waste disposal supply chain partners. You’ll ensure best value for money, efficient service, and product standardisation. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with experience in supply chain management, a keen eye for operational and continuous improvement, plus the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
What we are looking for:
Educated to degree level or equivalent in an Economics related discipline or significant equivalent experience
A relevant Supply Chain Management qualification in construction or building materials (e.g. HNC/HND in Procurement and Supply Management
Strong knowledge of building materials in housing or construction sector
Previous experience in supply chain management, with strong financial management particularly in budget preparation and monitoring
Good project management skills
Experience of customer consultation and understanding diverse needs across the business
Excellent leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and support colleagues
High degree of professionalism
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Good problem-solving skills
Willingness to have difficult conversations (with colleagues of all levels and customers) when needed whilst modelling our core values
Advanced IT skills – Outlook, Word and Excel

While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices and other locations as required. Our Group offices are located at Birmingham Business Park Solihull and Central Park, Worcester.
There will be regular operational travel around our geography, therefore a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential. Mileage will be able to be claimed in line with our Mileage policy.
