Join SBS as a Delivery Director, where you’ll spearhead a portfolio of high-impact projects, collaborating with Tier 1 banks, building societies, and internal stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge solutions. As Delivery Director, you will be at the forefront of innovation, leading multiple retail banking system projects, including system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and cloud-native solutions. You’ll oversee various programmes, providing strategic leadership while maintaining operational oversight to ensure successful delivery. What will the role involve? Programme Leadership: Overseeing the delivery of a comprehensive portfolio of retail banking projects and ensuring successful execution of system implementations, upgrades, migrations, security, hosting, and cloud-native projects. Strategic Planning: Collaborating with the Client Account Director to develop new business opportunities and a long-term account strategy. Also, setting the strategic direction for delivery, including resourcing, financial, and commercial plans. Stakeholder Engagement: Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and C-level executives from Tier 1 banks/building societies and driving opportunities for collaboration and business growth. Team Leadership: Leading and mentoring a team of Project Managers, ensuring alignment with programme goals, conducting 1:1s, appraisals, and setting clear objectives. Agile Advocacy: Championing project management best practices and advocating for Agile methodologies across the organisation. Reporting: Providing detailed insight into programme and project progress through weekly, quarterly, and annual reports.
