Central Administrator/Receptionist | Wolverhampton | 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) | £23,000 per annum An exciting position has become available for a full-time Central Administrator / Receptionist based near to Wolverhampton City Centre. You will be the ‘central' person, responsible for co-ordinating recruitment and a range of key administrative and organisational processes whilst supervising the reception. Level 3 qualification or significant administrative experience Experience of working on reception or face to face working with customers Experience of HR administration An understanding of equal opportunities and diversity and ability to respond respectfully to people from different cultures and backgrounds Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel Experience of updating / using one or more management information and/or customer relationship management (CRM) system Excellent communication skills, in dealing with enquiries, whether face to face, by email or by telephone Good level of written communication skills Highly organised with good time management and prioritisation skills Able to work with accuracy and with an eye for detail Comfortable working alone in reception, or in similar one-to-one situations with customers Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of our committed staff team Ability to adapt to different ways of working and be flexible in order to meet the needs of the service What will your role look like? Reviewing, maintaining and implementing administrative systems and processes to support the effective functioning of the company Providing administrative support to the CEO and infrastructure team in terms of regular weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks Acting as a first point of contact for anyone engaging with by phone, email or face to face, and signposting them on to the appropriate person or agency Managing criminal records checks with the Disclosure and Barring Service through our DBS umbrella body Maintaining and updating company database / management information system Maintaining HR records including those relating to leave, sickness, recruitment and training Developing and coordinating regular Administration Team meetings for colleagues across the organisation Maintaining an up-to-date list of suppliers and liaising with them as required Supporting our Senior Management Team to ensure smooth running of central systems, as well as providing support to other Project Leads as required Organising agendas and taking minutes at our Board, project management team meetings and staff meetings as and when required Supporting volunteers / apprentices within the reception area Promoting a positive image of the organisation by providing a high standard of service to all stakeholders including service users, suppliers, staff and volunteers Any other duties commensurate with the post What can you expect in return?
