Marketing Manager A leading organisation within the food industry, are currently seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team based in Craigavon. This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position. Working hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm With a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience). Job Purpose: You will be responsible for driving brand awareness, product promotion, and market expansion. This role requires close collaboration with the New Product Development (NPD) and Sales departments to identify consumer trends, develop go-to-market strategies, and deliver effective marketing campaigns that support business growth. Essential Criteria: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the food & beverage or FMCG sector. Proficient in digital marketing tools (e.g., SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing) and data analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics). Proven track record of successfully launching products and executing marketing campaigns. Experience in collaborating with NPD and Sales teams to deliver on business objectives. Strong financial acumen and experience managing marketing budgets. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels (internal and external). Excellent organisational skills. Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Desirable Criteria: Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification in marketing is a plus Strong understanding of the food manufacturing industry, particularly in jams, jellies, vermicelli, and similar products. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals, including product launches, seasonal promotions, and ongoing brand building. Work with NPD to identify and capitalise on market trends and consumer preferences, ensuring new products are well-positioned for success. Collaborate with the Sales team to drive sales growth through tailored marketing initiatives that support key accounts and retail partnerships. Lead product positioning and branding efforts for our core products, ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints. Manage product packaging design and promotional materials, ensuring alignment with brand identity and regulatory requirements. Oversee product launches from concept to execution, including pre-launch activities, in-market activation, and post-launch analysis. Conduct market research to understand consumer behaviour, competitive landscape, and emerging food trends. Analyse sales data and customer feedback to make data-driven marketing decisions. Identify new market opportunities and potential product innovations. Lead digital marketing efforts, including website management, social media, and email marketing campaigns, to drive online engagement and sales. Develop compelling content, including blog posts, product stories, and customer case studies, to showcase the quality and versatility of our products. Manage relationships with external agencies, freelancers, and influencers to support digital initiatives. Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including print, digital, and in-store promotions, to support key sales periods (e.g., holidays, product launches). Monitor campaign performance, providing regular reporting on ROI, customer engagement, and sales impact. Collaborate with retailers and distributors on joint marketing initiatives. Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and strong return on investment. Track marketing expenditures, providing monthly reports on spending and adjusting plans as needed to meet budget goals. Act as the primary liaison between the Marketing, NPD, and Sales teams to ensure alignment on product development, promotional activities, and market strategies. Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights, report on marketing performance, and contribute to business planning.
