About The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Head of Payroll based in Tring, Hertfordshire, with practice. The ideal candidate will be friendly, communicative, and have excellent attention to detail.
About The Responsibilities
* Previous experience of managing or supervising a payroll team
* Excellent current, technical payroll knowledge
* Experience in using MoneySoft, Xero payroll knowledge beneficial (but not essential)
* Record and maintain precise payroll records. Calculating and processing payments, deductions, pensions, and benefits, ensuring they are accurately reflected on employees' payslips.
* Escalate payroll queries
* Processing timesheets, entering the data and dealing with payroll queries efficiently and accurately
* Dealing with 50+ annual payrolls
* 30+ monthly payrolls
* 1 weekly payroll to run
* Experience of processing manual payroll
About The Applicant
* Good organisational skills, communication and analytical skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to learn new software
* Must be competent with MS Excel
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
