Main duties of the job
What you'll be responsible for:
* Assessing and monitoring patient conditions and arranging diagnostic tests
* Recognising deterioration in the physical or mental condition of a patient and taking appropriate action/escalation
* Recognising, responding to, and managing emergency situations
* Displaying excellent analytical ability and sound decision making in changing clinical situations
* Recognising limitations and escalating concerns
* The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 9-5pm

What you'll need:
* Registered Nurse Adult
* Specialist Practitioner qualification (DN Degree, diploma or Certificate in District Nursing)
* Non-Medical Prescriber/Nurse Prescriber Qualification
* To support the ability to change skin level devices (buttons), balloon gastrostomy tubes, nasogastric tubes, as appropriate.
* Evidence of clinical leadership within a community nursing environment including;
* Coaching
* Recruitment and selection
* Risk and Incident Reporting (Root Cause Analysis) and supporting teams in learning from findings.
* Able to manage own workload and support others
* Able to conduct courageous conversations and support staff with performance-related issues
* At least 2 years Enteral Nursing experience
* Community Nursing Experience.
* *Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.

* Statement of NMC Registration
* Degree / Diploma in Nursing
Experience
* A car and valid UK driving license.
* At least 2 years Enteral Nursing experience.
* Community Nursing Experience.
