Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga has an exciting new opportunity- are you an experienced Mental Health Clinician ready to lead in a kaupapa Māori setting? Take charge of our new Crisis Respite service, He Tāwharau, supporting adults through a mental health crises. Build systems, inspire a team, and provide cultural and clinical excellence to empower whānau.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead a multi-disciplinary team covering our new dedicated crisis respite facility and our existing residential unit
* Work in partnership with Te Whatu Ora, MSD, and Police to provide innovative, holistic care.
* Establish high-quality support for whaiora and whanau.
Key Skills
* 3+ years in NZ acute mental health (e.g. crisis team, liaison psychiatry)
* Registered Nurse, or Practitioner under HPCA Act 2003 or other professional under a regulated professional body
* Leadership experience in acute/ crisis setting
* Commitment to our values
* Empathy, professionalism, and problem-solving skills
* Full Drivers Licence
