Overview
We have an opportunity available for a Full Time Senior Support Worker to join the team at our Knowsley Supported Living Service, Bluebell Lane based in Huyton, Liverpool, L36 7XY. The service is due to become CQC Registered early 2025.
The team provides a 24 service for people with a mental health diagnosis and will support people in crisis short term for up to 2 years to a point where they can move on. The service also provides a crisis emergency bed.
Salary: £12.75 per hour
Hours: 36 hours weekly

You'll be supporting adults with various conditions including LD, dementia, mental health, and other physical conditions on a person-centered basis, from following care plans to administering medication and assisting with daily living.

Please note, mental health experience is preferred due to working in a complex setting.
Qualifications
As Senior Support Worker, you will supervise staff members and delegate responsibilities ensuring values-based support is delivered to the highest standard, so previous Support Worker experience is essential.
You will be supporting adults with mental health illnesses on a person-centred basis. Tasks will include following a care plan, medication administering, accessing the community, and domestic tasks such as support with shopping and daily living tasks.
On joining Making Space, you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
