As an HLTA, you will: • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons or activities for small groups or whole classes. • Support pupils with varying needs, including those with additional learning challenges, helping them stay engaged and achieve their potential. • Work collaboratively with teachers to assess pupils’ progress and adapt learning plans accordingly. • Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for specific pupils. • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence. • Lead extracurricular activities, helping to further enrich students' educational experiences. To be considered for this HLTA role, you should have: • HLTA status or a recognised equivalent qualification. • Previous experience working within a primary school setting, particularly in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting children’s development.• The ability to manage and prioritise tasks effectively in a dynamic school environment.
