Description
Working with our exams team, you will contribute towards the running and supervision of GCSE, A Level examinations, and other assessments at the college. You will be responsible for the supervision of students, including when they enter and vacate the exam room.
Experience and an enhanced DBS would be advantageous; however, full training will be given.
To be successful, you must demonstrate you can:
1. Understand and apply instructions with accurate attention to detail, in accordance with regulations.
2. Carry out sole invigilation or invigilation as part of an invigilation team.
3. Assist with setting up of examinations.
4. Distribute and collate exam papers.
5. Be vigilant at all times and able to act with authority when required.
6. Demonstrate confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
* Understand and apply instructions with accurate attention to detail, in accordance with JCQ (ICE) regulations.
* Carry out sole invigilation or as part of an invigilation team.
* Assist with setting up of examinations.
* Ensure the correct paperwork is completed accurately and retained in accordance with the Exam Office processes.
* Distribute and collate exam papers, ensuring candidates receive the correct assessment.
* Be vigilant at all times and able to act with authority when required, ensuring candidates comply with instructions.
* Demonstrate integrity and confidentiality.
