To set moulds on a day to day/shift basis, ensuring machines are set to agreed standards.
Products are manufactured to the correct cycle times, quality, packed to specification, correctly labelled and operating to the planning requirements.
Setting of machines and processes, including trialling of new tools, in conjunction with Project Manager/Technical Department.
To complete all documentation in line with the requirements of QS9000 & ISO9002.
Start up and shut down of operations including ancillary equipment & services.
Setting of moulding machines, ancillary equipment, and associated processes for the manufacture of products to agreed cycle times.
Shift Pattern:
3 shift pattern: 1 week of Nights (Sun to Thurs 10pm til 6am), 1 week of Days (6am - 2pm), 1 week of Afternoons (2pm - 10pm).
Salary and Benefits:
* Salary would be up to £36k depending on experience.
* After 3 month probation, benefits include health shield and company pension (3%).
* Overtime on weekends: Sat paid at 1.5, Sun double time.
Requirements:
* Must have plastic injection molding experience.
* Use of overhead cranes also required - training will be provided.
* Flexible approach to shift cover.
* Timekeeping and punctuality.
