In this interesting role within the Wealth Compliance Advisory team, you’ll be integral in providing compliance advisory support to assist our front-line colleagues to understand their regulatory obligations to ensure they can be there for our customers in the moments that matter. You’ll be helping our Customer Interactions teams to understand current and new FCA regulations. You’ll work collaboratively with them to produce products that are compliant by design. You’ll be part of a close-knit team at the heart of compliance advisory to help guarantee our customers have a fantastic and memorable experience. The difference you’ll make: Providing regulatory compliance advice and training others as needed Keeping up to date with changes in regulation and legislation and understanding its impact on San UK Advising on the interpretation and implementation of new regulations Ensuring key issues, risks and incidents are communicated or escalated as required Providing compliance support, challenge and engagement in relation to products being offered Proposing innovative compliance solutions to help project teams deliver objectives in line within regulatory expectations What you’ll bring: These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role: Previous experience in a regulatory compliance advisory role within banking or wealth management In depth understanding of the FCA rulebook especially the Conduct of Business Sourcebooks Excellent communications skills both verbal and written Well-developed analytical, interpretation and influencing and skills It would also be nice for you to have: Meticulous attention to detail Knowledge of the Client Assets Sourcebook (CASS) A relevant regulatory qualification such as CeMap, ICA, DipFA or equivalent What else you need to know: Our preferred location for this role is Glasgow, but we’ll also consider locating the role in Milton Keynes. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
