Territory Sales Manager - Women's Health
Salary + OTE: £55,000 - £60,000 + £20,000 bonus
Territory: North East and Scotland - Leeds - York - Newcastle - Sunderland - Middlesbrough - to be based North East
The Company:
Our Client is a global leader in the manufacturing and marketing of proprietary disposable medical devices, serving hospitals worldwide. With a team of over 500 sales and clinical support professionals, they employ approximately 7,100 people across the globe.
You will be selling their flagship innovation in women's health/breast cancer which has been clinically proven to enhance patient outcomes by improving radiology workflows and significantly reducing operating room delays. The system allows surgeons to precisely target tissue within 1mm, supporting more successful surgeries, optimised breast conservation strategies, and better outcomes for patients.
The Role:
As a Sales Manager for Interventional Radiology and surgical products, you will be responsible for the North East and Scotland region. You'll leverage your existing connections within these fields to expand and strengthen our client's market presence.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Promoting a range of innovative products in Interventional Radiology and Surgical.
2. Building and nurturing relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) within hospitals and medical institutions.
3. Winning new business and market share from competitors.
4. Introducing disruptive technology.
5. Driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and customer engagement.
The Person:
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
2. Minimum of three years of direct sales experience, in selling medical products or capital equipment to hospitals.
3. Proven ability to effectively communicate and understand the needs of healthcare professionals.
Skills and Attributes:
1. Strong personal motivation with a drive to achieve both personal and professional goals.
2. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to analyze problems and provide effective solutions to medical technicians and clinicians.
3. Ability to learn and explain medical equipment usage, and identify areas for improvement.
4. Capable of working both independently and as part of a team to meet organizational objectives.
5. Proficiency in business for preparing financial and sales reports.
6. Highly organized, with attention to detail in recording, reporting, and documenting work.
7. Willingness to travel extensively and work long hours when necessary.
