As our Site Finance Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in the operational finance activities at our Bolton, Greater Manchester site. You'll support the Global Supply Chain and Protective and Marine leadership team, working closely with the Finance Manager on a variety of day-to-day tasks. Join us and be part of a dynamic team where your contributions truly matter Responsibilities Support timely and accurate month-end closing by reviewing the Profit & Loss statements, conducting variance analysis, and providing commentary. Assist in the creation of monthly rolling forecasts and annual budgets. Provide analytical support for Operational Excellence cost-saving projects, including Lean projects, Six Sigma, Capital Projects, Kaizen Events, and 5S projects. Support capital projects by performing Return on Investment calculations. Prepare and analyze reports for management to aid in fiscal decision-making. Assist the Finance Manager with ad hoc reporting and other related tasks as needed. Evaluate Global Supply Chain (GSC) opportunities from the Profit & Loss statements. Prepare inventory reports to assist departments in decision-making and support the annual physical inventory process. Communicate financial information effectively and challenge departmental costs. Perform other duties as assigned. Serve as the point of contact for GSC Headquarters and the Region. Qualifications Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional Qualifications : Actively pursuing or planning to pursue CIMA or ACCA accreditation. Technical Skills : Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft systems. Experience with Oracle ERP, Smart View, Essbase, and other ERP systems. Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Business Objects, OBIEE, or MicroStrategy. Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Initiative : Ability to take initiative, work independently, and navigate challenges effectively. Experience : Preferred accounting experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Previous experience with budgeting processes and working in an international company is advantageous. Communication Skills : Effective verbal and written communication skills.
