About Us
In 2008, Qantas Freight Enterprises bought Jets Transport. Today we operate as a wholly owned but independently managed business. With unbeatable reliability, security, and attention to detail, it’s no surprise we’re Australia’s road feeder of choice. At Jets Transport, we see expectations as a challenge and push forward knowing we’ve got back-up. High expectations are welcomed, and we’re always aiming for excellence.
Job Description
As a Full-time Long Distance Driver, you will drive heavy (Road Ranger gearbox) vehicles over long distances, collecting and delivering freight between Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.
Challenge yourself in a role where you support Jets Transport to achieve positive commercial outcomes. Together we’ll achieve results in a highly dynamic environment. This is a permanent, full-time position based at Tullamarine, Melbourne.

2. Managing the Jets Transport customer database, providing quotes for jobs, and updating rate cards in the system.
3. Developing and driving strategic/transformation initiatives, particularly in third-party supplier relationships and partnerships.
4. Overseeing and driving customer service delivery and enterprise bargaining interpretation for payroll purposes.
5. General IT support for Jets Transport.
Qualifications

* A focus on process improvement with the ability to adapt and commit to continuous improvement activities.
* Commercial orientation with an ability to manage and resolve customer expectations and escalations.
* Ability to drive value through business partnering within a large corporate organisation, coupled with extensive financial knowledge.
* Highly motivated self-starter, with an ability to work under time pressure with limited supervision.
* Excellent communication and written skills to promote collaboration within both Jets Transport and the wider Qantas Group community.
