We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Technology Solutions Analyst to lead in our fast-paced technology department and solutions team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing direction and oversight to other Solutions Analysts assigned to you for specific projects. Your focus will encompass delivering transformative change across processes, people, and systems, with a specific emphasis on our technology departments, systems, and business integrations, all while ensuring continuous improvement. Additionally, your role will play a part in architecting the right solutions, driving alignment between technology solutions and overall business objectives. You’ll assess the needs the business has on the technology team and working alongside colleagues in Technology you will help facilitate the delivery of appropriate and effective outcomes. You’ll also be investigating technology situations, identifying and evaluating improvement options, defining requirements and ensuring that implemented solutions meet the needs of the business and our customers. You will help translate technical design concepts into IT operations, helping to define best fit solutions for existing problems. Projects will vary in scale and complexity with a range of budgets. You’ll work to ensure that you deliver to quality, cost, and delivery targets through the building of cross-functional project teams to ensure success. Key Accountabilities You’ll spend your time: Leading and mentoring other Solutions Analysts, guiding them in delivering effective outcomes aligned with business needs. Managing resources on a 1-2-1 basis including management of performance and people issue with the team you are assigned. Oversee the production of analysis deliverables in line with standards and timelines, conducting thorough peer reviews. Manage projects of varying scale and complexity, ensuring adherence to specified budgets and meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets. Act as a liaison between the technology department and business stakeholders, fostering effective communication and understanding of project objectives. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, instilling a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Shape pre-project activities, including project approach and scope, impact assessments, and cost/benefit analysis. Apply advanced analysis techniques to elicit requirements, ensuring the team achieves desired business outcomes. Communicate progress and escalate potential risks or issues impacting delivery to stakeholders and upper management. Collaborate with third-party IT providers to gain a comprehensive understanding of business needs and ensure seamless integration. Contribute to the development of Business Readiness plans and offer support to Project Managers and stakeholders as needed. Actively participate in technical design discussions and technical specification reviews helping to architect the right outcome. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations. Ability to lead and drive change in a dynamic business environment. Proven experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably within the financial services industry. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and evaluate improvement options. Experience in delivering change across processes, people and systems. Experience working with core technologies common to most businesses. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify risks and issues and work with stakeholders to mitigate these. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Confidence to use your own initiative and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritise and remain agile with conflicting work demands. Knowledge of structured analysis methodologies, such as LEAN, Six Sigma, BPMN, Use Cases.
