The Post:
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated professional, with drive and ambition, to join the Humanities Department from April 2025. The successful candidate will be required to teach KS3 and KS4. This post would suit someone new to teaching or someone with greater experience. The candidate will be able to inspire students with a passion for Geography through both the curriculum and the co-curriculum. The ability to teach another Humanities subject would be an advantage.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher with excellent subject knowledge to play a key role in teaching highly motivated pupils within an energetic, diverse and innovative department. The Humanities Department at NLGS holds practical application, collaboration and innovation at the heart of its approach. The curriculum has a focus on learning through enjoyment and is designed to develop the key skills that enable students to be successful in their studies at GCSE and beyond.
The successful candidate will be expected to make a contribution to departmental activities outside the classroom, including trips, clubs, assemblies and other interactive events, to broaden the experiences of our students. A willingness to offer support to other aspects of the extracurricular life of the school is required.
