Imperial Consulting is seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in Glasgow. Role Overview As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your role will involve engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and promoting our utility solutions in a way that enhances their overall experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent service will be crucial to your success. Key Responsibilities Greet and engage customers as they enter the store, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages them to explore our offerings. Understand customer needs through active listening and asking insightful questions, ensuring you can provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements. Promote our utility services through in-person interactions, explaining the benefits and features to drive sales and meet personal and team targets. Assist with inventory management, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are appealing to attract customers. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly to maintain a high level of satisfaction. Participate in promotional events, collaborating with team members to increase brand awareness and drive foot traffic to the store. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring that all products are displayed attractively and that the store is tidy. Keep up to date with product knowledge, including features and benefits of our services, to confidently communicate with customers. Requirements Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK (unfortunately, we cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas). Must be able to work full-time. Must not have applied for any Imperial Consulting roles in the past 30 days. Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is highly desirable, but training will be provided to the right candidates. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to assist customers. Understanding that we do not do digital marketing—this role focuses on direct interactions with customers and in-person sales.
