The role
We are looking to hire a talented Commissioning Manager to join our Commissioning Management / Content team in London.
This is a hybrid role with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in our London office.

Role overview
The ideal candidate will have expertise in working at a fast-paced digital service company (the world's leading trend forecaster) and understand how to manage a workflow system for a large content creation team. You will be exceptional at tracking data and regularly providing reviews to Senior Commissioning Managers, and wider teams when necessary.
Working within the Commissioning Management team, you will liaise with all product verticals across WGSN including Fashion, Beauty, Insight, Food and Drink, Sports and Outdoors, Interiors, and Consumer Tech and be responsible for maintaining processes between content creation, image management, picture desk, design studio and editorial. You will wear many hats while working in this dynamic and exciting role.
The team
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the diverse Commissioning Management team which sits across all products at WGSN globally. The role involves working with teams of people in different regions and time zones such as EMEA, LATAM, APAC and NAM. Working alongside other essential business functions such as content, editorial, marketing, design and data, we facilitate the creation of all content for multiple industries and support the publishing flow. You will work with some of the most creative experts in the industry. Every day will be different, exciting and unique. You will be based in London and be a part of the Commissioning team made up of 5 experts who will support and develop your journey.
Key accountabilities
* Working alongside the Senior Commissioning Managers to strategically plan and manage a comprehensive content calendar to ensure consistent and timely content delivery across all verticals, using the current Commissioning Management system.
* Aligning workflows across various parts of the business, including Media (Picture/Video), Design Studio, Marketing, Content, Editorial and Sales.
* Become sufficient in using our content-creation software to build content when required.
* Implement and monitor processes, ensuring absolute efficiency.
* Contribute to overall objectives and be accountable for specific content goals and KPIs.
* Responsible for collating data using key metrics to measure performance and efficiency across departments and individuals and present findings on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to the Senior Commissioning Managers.
* Manage budget logistics with relevant PO raising and invoicing on demand.
* Freelancer management, ensuring we’re meeting capacity, managed and organised in advance of content peaks and employee annual leave.
* Working on projects and creating documentation when required to showcase various business topics, using programmes such as Google Slides to build presentations that are clear and concise for content team use.

Skills, qualifications & experience required
* Ability to plan and manage a content calendar effectively.
* Project management skills - mid level.
* Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to identify gaps early on.
* Data analysis - you will be knowledgeable on data analysis and be able to make recommendations.
* Analytical mindset.
* Organising and planning workflow systems.
