Carbon60 are looking for a number of Trainee Coil Operatives to join a large Engineering company based in Greenford. This position is on a Temp to Perm basis.
This Coil Operative position is working for our client that offers engineering components and services to their clients. They also pride themselves in providing a maintenance service for gearboxes, pumps, motors, and other rotating equipment.
This position will be working in their coil manufacturing facility. Full training is provided on this position.
Skills Required:
* Commitment to working to high quality procedures and standards
* Ability to work effectively within a team
* Experience with basic hand and power tools
* Experience of working in an engineering environment
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to follow instructions accurately
Job Duties:
* Dismantling electric motors using hand tools.
* Taking all windings out using chisel/hammer operation.
* Using abrasives to clean out the parts (includes use of angle grinders)
* Using chemicals to wash motor casing and steam cleaning.
* Using short blaster to clean all motor parts.
* Using crane operations for all activities.
* Training provided.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
