Job overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Matron to join our Community Teams based in the East Suffolk Locality, overseeing our Access and Assessment Team (AAT) and Primary Care Networks (PCN).
You will have responsibility for clinical governance, promoting a culture of learning and openness and ensure clinical staff have the knowledge, capability, systems and support to deliver evidence based care and embed lessons learned in practice for the improvement of patient experience. In this role, you will work alongside the Associate Director of Operations and hold joint responsibility for financial management, ensuring effective and efficient clinical, quality, and safety performance. The post will be integral in building strong working relationships with Primary Care in East Suffolk and support the transformation of our Access and Assessment service.

As Matron, you will work closely with the locality leadership team to ensure that high quality care is delivered within your services and will provide professional leadership to the nursing workforce.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Diploma level/Degree in relevant health/social care profession, eg RMN, RLDN OT, Social Worker.
* Current relevant registration with the NMC or HCPC
* Masters Level Degree or equivalent
Experience
* Clinical Leadership and clinical care
* Involvement in managing change/projects.
* Service improvement and development
* Working in partnership
* Experience of community care
