My client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper/ Finance Assistant to oversee the financial operations of our property portfolio. This role involves managing rental income, ensuring timely rental collection, maintaining accurate financial records, and optimizing portfolio performance. Lettings and Management: Ensuring rent payments are matched against rent charges in CRM Following up with tenants on unpaid rent. Reporting rent arrears to property manager. Preparing landlord statements for remittance. Sales and Purchase Ledgers: Processing expenses (coding, getting approval, and processing for payment). Processing sales on QuickBooks. Reconciling Payments and Receipts. Reconciling Supplier and Customer Statements. Requirements : Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Microsoft Office IT skills such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams. Qualifications (Desired) ICB, IAB, or AAT Level 3 Qualified. Experience: Accounting: 2 years (required) Permanent Pay: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year On-site parking Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
