We are looking for a talented NPI Project Engineer for our client DENSO Marston, a global leader in off-highway cooling systems. You will play a pivotal role in the New Product Introduction (NPI) team. Your Mission
As a key player in our wider NPI function, you’ll be the bridge between design and production, ensuring a seamless process integration for all new product launches. You'll take the lead in defining, sourcing, and commissioning new jigs, tools, and fixtures, while coordinating trials and early-stage builds. Your role will be crucial in validating manufacturing processes to ensure every new product hits the ground running - on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
Own the introduction of new designs into manufacturing from a process perspective.
Lead the design, procurement, and commissioning of production tooling and equipment.
Create and maintain key process documentation to support production readiness.
Drive cross-functional project activity, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
Use the Engineering Change Management system to monitor progress and track changes.
Coordinate trial builds and validation, ensuring new products meet quality standards.
Communicate clearly and confidently with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Monitor and report on obsolescence costs, ensuring financial control and transparency.Required Experience & Skills
Strong project management capability, ideally using tools like MS Project.
Proficient in 3D CAD (Creo preferred) and interpreting 2D engineering drawings.
Demonstrated ability in process improvement and root cause problem solving.
Excellent communicator and team player, with the ability to influence at all levels.
A confident self-starter who can make decisions, manage complexity, and lead change.
Understanding of manufacturing MRP systems is a bonus.
Tenacious and motivated, with a can-do attitude and drive to challenge the status quo.Preferred Qualifications
Degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
