AJ Bell is looking for a Senior CRM Data Executive to join our Direct-to-Consumer Marketing team on a contract basis. This role plays a key part in driving customer growth and increasing customer value through smart, strategic use of data and automation.
What does the job involve:
As a Senior CRM Data Executive, you'll take the lead on CRM campaign execution using Bloomreach, our customer engagement platform, owning workflows, segmentation, automation, and reporting to optimise marketing performance. You’ll collaborate closely with the wider marketing team and stakeholders across the business to ensure campaigns are targeted, effective, and always evolving.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop targeted, data-driven campaigns to specific customer segments
* Perform as a Bloomreach super user and build close working relationships with our marketing platform vendor, ensuring platform capabilities are utilised and optimised across all channels
* Produce regular campaign and automated programme reporting to thoroughly understand performance of all campaigns and identify insights to make recommendations to drive future performance
* Work with the marketing teams to ensure an in-depth understanding of the key objectives and deliverables of the annual campaign plans
* Generate comprehensive campaign reports using data from Bloomreach and other marketing and business tools
* Use workflow and automation functions within the tools, reducing manual production wherever possible. (Long-term aims are to achieve a balance of 80% programme/automation based and 20% campaign-based CRM activity)
* Effectively manage, execute, and track the performance of marketing activity through CRM channels
* Support and enable the business to deliver good outcomes for D2C customers through adherence to regulatory requirements, including consumer duty
Competence, Knowledge, and Skills:
* 3+ years experience in CRM in an omnichannel business or similar role
* Excellent analytical skills (SQL is a bonus) with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and present key findings in an impactful way
* Experience of working with Bloomreach or similar Customer Marketing Platforms
* Good understanding and active experience in the end-to-end delivery of email marketing campaigns
* Experience in working with customer data, including permissions, data protection, GDPR, segmentation
* Self-motivator and good communicator
